Masako Nozawa, Takayoshi Tanimoto to Attend 1st-Ever Dragon Ball-Themed 3K Run

Dragon Ball's first ever fan running event, "Dragon Ball Run," is coming to Tokyo and Aichi later this month. The foot races will have a course that is about three kilometers (about 1.86 miles) long. The events will feature special appearances by Masako Nozawa, the voice actress for Son Goku and the majority of his male relatives, and Takayoshi Tanimoto, who performed the theme song for Dragon Ball Kai.
All participants will receive matching Goku T-shirts, and those who make it across the finish line will get special prizes to prove they completed the race.
During the race, seven Dragon Balls scattered across the course can be collected using the event's smartphone app "COCOAR2." People who collect the Dragon Balls can receive a limited-edition item. The app can also be used to take pictures with characters from the anime via AR.
Nozawa and Tanimoto will have a talk show, and Tanimoto will also perform at the stage event.
