Boruto & Naruto Prank Kami-Usagi Rope in TOHO Cinema Ads

Boruto and Naruto are pranking paper rabbit Rope and his quick-tempered squirrel friend Akira in new ads to promote TOHO CINEMAS. The ad was created specifically to promote the new theater opening in Ueno on November 4. In the ad, Boruto asks Rope and Akira about the new cinema, but before they answer another Boruto appears with the same question, then another, and finally Naruto, too.
The ads are running before feature films in TOHO Cinema locations in Tokyo, Chiba, Kanagawa, and Saitama (excluding Kinshicho) and are part of a larger collaboration with Boruto: Naruto Next Generations. Participating theaters began giving away Boruto posters on August 12. Theaters will also distribute 1,000 exclusive postcards for three days starting on November 4.
Kami-Usagi Rope was created by Yūji Uchiyama as a series of comedy shorts at the Oscar-winning studio Robot. The franchise previously collaborated with Despicable Me and Tim Burton.
