Become a Sorcerer's Apprentice With The Ancient Magus' Bride Clothing

posted on by Jennifer Sherman

Apparel brand earth music & ecology's Japan Label is collaborating with The Ancient Magus' Bride anime to offer a real-world version of Chise's outfit. The company will begin accepting orders for the collaboration items on Thursday. The original manga's creator Kore Yamazaki provided a special illustration of Chise for the campaign.

The theme of the collaboration items is "Natural British Garden." The sweater recreates the one that Silky gives to Chise in the anime. The English garden-themed lace on the blouse is inspired by the house that Chise and Elias live in. All of the items reimagine the pieces Chise wears in the anime.

The cardigan and plaid skirt cost 7,117 yen (about US$62) each, the blouse costs 5,389 yen (US$47), and the necklace costs 2,581 yen (US$23). People who spend at least 7,000 yen (US$61) on collaboration items will receive an A4-size magazine-style card of Yamazaki's illustration.

The Stripe Club online shop will accept pre-orders for the items until November 20. Orders are slated to ship in early- to mid-February.

The anime premiered in Japan on October 7. Crunchyroll is streaming the series with English subtitles, and Funimation is streaming the series with an English dub.

Anime and manga that the clothing brand has previously collaborated with include Gintama, Tsumasaki no Uchū, Madoka Magica, Love Live!, Daytime Shooting Star, and Natsume's Book of Friends.
