Illustrator Kantoku Turns Underwear Into Fancy Bows

posted on by Lynzee Loveridge

Life can throw all kinds of desperate situations at you. If you've ever locked your keys in your car, forgot a key ingredient after putting a cake into the oven, or don't have the right hair accessory for a night out, you know what it feels like. In episode nine of A Sister's All You Need, the eyecatch illustration gives advice on how to solve at least one of these problems.

The episode's eyecatch illustration shows how to turn a pair of white panties into a functional bow by folding the pair just right. The image can still be a little difficult to understand, so thankfully the series' light novel illustrator Kantoku made a video demonstrating exactly how to pull it off.

The result is a pretty convincing, albeit large, bow. Even the original seams match up to give the illusion that there's nothing unusual about the accessory. How useful this knowledge is, is up to you to decide.

A Sister's All You Need premiered in Japan on October 8. Crunchyroll is streaming the series and Funimation is simuldubbing the series as it airs in Japan.

The story follows the everyday life of Itsuki, a novelist and "modern day Pygmalion" who works day in and day out to create the ultimate younger sister. He is surrounded by various other characters: a beautiful genius writer who loves him, his big-sisterly classmate from college, a fellow male writer, a sadistic tax accountant, and his editor. They're all looked after by Itsuki's perfect younger "step-brother," Chihiro, who has a big secret.

Yomi Hirasaka writes the novel series, and Kantoku (The "Hentai" Prince and the Stony Cat.) provides the illustrations.
