Celebrity Kanō Sisters Get Custom Cutie Honey Costumes at AnimeJapan

The celebrity duo Kyōko and Mika Kanō are no strangers to saucy photo shoots and appealing to their otaku fanbase. The ladies previously starred in a campaign for the Ensemble Stars! male idol game, appeared in commercials for Comic Toranoana dōjin store, and attended last year's summer Comiket convention. Their popularity in otaku circles is actually pretty new. The Kanō sisters were mostly known for publishing lifestyle DVDs and books targeting older women.
Now the pair are riding their new wave of popularity with an appearance at the AnimeJapan 2018 event promoting Cutie Honey Universe. The sisters will appear on the Yellow Stage on March 24 with series' original creator Gō Nagai in "fabulous" custom Cutie Honey costumes. Which of the multiple Cutie Honey Universe designs will Kyōko and Mika wear? Fans will have to head to AnimeJapan to find out.
