1/1-Scale Tiger & Bunny Wild Tiger Head Gets Update After 5 Years

Online store Premium Bandai recently revealed a new version of a full-size Tiger & Bunny Wild Tiger display head. The website released the original 1/1-scale mask in 2013.
The new version of the Wild Tiger head has updated clear parts and a new metallic coating. Although the mask is life-size at about 28 centimeters (about 11 inches) tall, it is not intended to be wearable.
The new Wild Tiger head costs 41,796 yen (about US$390), which is more than the original was (at 37,380 yen). Both Premium Bandai and Megahouse's Megatrea Shop are accepting pre-orders now, and the deadline to order is late April. There is a limit of three masks per order. The display head is slated to ship in June.
Sunrise's original anime franchise is getting a new anime series project. Both Keiichi Satō, the director of the original Tiger & Bunny television anime, and Yoshitomo Yonetani, director of the Tiger & Bunny anime films, confirmed that they are not working on the series.
And for those who want to rewatch the series or films in preparation for the new anime, the Wild Tiger head can also open its mouth, allowing for a great novelty popcorn bucket for binge watching!
