ANiUTa Streaming Service Crowns Its Most Played Artists of 2017

The newly minted anisong streaming service ANiUTa held its first awards ceremony to crown the most popular artists on its platform. Winners were selected based on users listening preferences; the more times a track was played the closer the artist got to the top spot.
The ANiUTa Awards recognized artists in 10 categories, with separate awards for solo and group acts, male and female singers, and theme songs for each anime season. The winners are:
Top Winter 2017 Anime Theme Song
"Aozora no Rhapsody" by fhána (Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid)
Top Spring 2017 Anime Theme Song
"Koi? de Ai? de Bōkun Desu!" by Wake Up, Girls! (Love Tyrant)
Top Summer 2017 Anime Theme Song
"One In A Billion" by Wake Up, May'n! (Restaurant to Another World)
Top Fall 2017 Anime Theme Song
"Here" by JUNNA (The Ancient Magus' Bride)
Most Played Single "Welcome to Japari Park" by by Dōbutsu Biscuit x PPP (Kemono Friends)
"Welcome to Japari Park" was downloaded more than 100,000 times and was certified Gold last year.
Most Played Album TV Anime Macross Delta Vocal Album Walküre Attack! by Walküre
The debut album of the Macross Delta anime's in-story idol unit Walküre shipped more than 100,000 copies, earning the album a gold disc certification and won the Animation Album of the Year award from the Recording Industry Association of Japan.
Most Played Female Solo Artist Suzuko Mimori: Her popular songs include "Egao no kimi e" (Yuki Yuna is A Hero Season 2), "Saki wa Hana" (Yūki Yūna wa Yūsha de Aru: Washio Sumi no Shō), and "Univer Page" (Outbreak Company).
Most Played Female Group Artist Aqours: The Love Live! Sunshine!! idol group's hit tracks include "Happy Party Train," "Aozora Jumping Heart," and "Mirai no Bokura wa Shitteru yo"
Most Played Male Solo Artist: Kenichi Suzumura. The prolific voice actor also sang theme songs for Handa-kun and Mr. Osomatsu.
Most Played Male Group Artist: GRANRODEO. The duo's top streamed tracks for 2017 include "move on! Ibaramichi," "Can Do," and "Glorious Days."
ANiUTa offers over 50,000 songs worldwide with tracks from popular anime series, tokusatsu programs, and Vocaloid producers.
