posted on by Jennifer Sherman

The April issue of Nikkei Business Publications' Nikkei Entertainment! magazine, which shipped on March 2, published an article that listed the top 30 longest-running manga. The Nikkei Style website posted the list online on Tuesday.

The listed manga have been running for a minimum of 20 years, and seinen manga published by Shogakukan dominate the list. Locke the Superman and Golgo 13, both series that have been running for about 50 years, ranked at #1 and #2, respectively. Shojo manga that concentrate around the mid 1970s also have a strong presence on the list.
