Discover & Capture Pokémon in Frau City in Latest Real Escape Game

posted on by Lynzee Loveridge

This year's Pokémon movie, Pocket Monster: Minna no Monogatari, is inspiring a brand-new escape game. The film takes place during the annual Wind Festival in Frau City, which is blessed with wind from the Legendary Pokémon Lugia. The real escape game will task players with finding their way out of the Wind Festival. The game is titled "Kaze no Yuenchi kara no Dasshutsu" (Escape from the Wind Amusement Park).

The hands-on event will challenge players to unravel a mystery and decrypt a code to locate a Pokémon hidden within the amusement park. Players will get to live out the experience of a Pokémon trainer by finding various creatures and collecting them during their search. There are different difficulty levels suitable for kids and adults so participants can enjoy the experience without a time limit.

The event will kick off on July 14 at the Tokyo Dome and run until September 24. It will also be held in Osaka's Hirakata Park from July 18 to September 17. Tickets will go on sale early for members of SCRAP's "Boys Detective SCRAP Team" on May 12, followed by general ticket sales on June 2.

Pocket Monster: Minna no Monogatari opens in theaters in Japan on July 13.
