Dengeki G's Magazine Decides Next 3 Love Live! Sunshine Covers via Vote

Dengeki G's Magazine announced the results of its third Aqours cover girl general election. This time the votes focused on costumes from Love Live! Sunshine!!'s second season.

Voting opened on January 30 and ran until February 9. The winner will appear on the cover of Dengeki G's July issue released at the end of May.

First place went to Dia Kurosawa is her costume from "MY mai☆TONIGHT". Dia beat out Yō Watanabe and Mari Ohara's costumes from "WATER BLUE NEW WORLD."

The Dengeki G's Magazine held three different voting categories for the covers of its next three issues, all centering on Love Live! Sunshine!!. Voting on the second cover girl ran from February 28 to March 9 and focused on a pair of characters having a slumber party. The winning pair will appear on the cover of the August issue released at the end of June.

The third vote is all about summer and swimsuits. Voting opened on March 30 and closed on April 6. Participants could pick their favorite idol and a summer activity like barbecue, snorkeling, swimming, and beach volleyball. The winning character and activity will appear on the cover of the September issue released at the end of July.

The Love Live! Sunshine!! anime series launched with "reader participation" as part of its key phrases and Dengeki G's has made good on the promise. Since the project launched, fans have decided the names of the mini-idol units and assigned characters as worldwide country image girls.

The second season of Love Live! Sunshine!! premiered on October 7, and the 13th and final episode aired in December. The official Twitter account for the Love Live! franchise announced that a film project for the Love Live! Sunshine!! anime series has been green-lit.
