Pokémon GO Japan Offers Tourism Packages to Catch Regional Pokémon

Pokémon GO will celebrate its second anniversary with big, globe-trotting prizes. The popular mobile game will send 24 people, 12 pairs of two, on a trip to catch one of four region-exclusive Pokemon.
The trip prizes includes a tour of Los Angeles to capture Tauros (Kentauros), Sydney to capture Kangaskhan (Garura), London to capture Mr. Mime (Barrierd), and Hawaii to capture Corsola (Sunnygo). Each pair of winners will go to one destination.
Players need to follow the Japanese Pokémon GO Twitter account to enter to win. Players then need to tweet one of the four region-limited Pokemon that are not available in Japan with the hashtag "#ポケモンGO2周年記念 #海外限定ポケモンを捕まえに行こう". Choose wisely, because the selected Pokemon determines which trip you could win. Entries will be accepted until September 28.
Winners will be chosen via lottery and round trip airfare from Tokyo International Airport or Narita International Airport is included along with hotel accommodation. Each trip lasts for five days.
Aside from the Travel Tour Pack prizes, five people will win a travel tickets worth 30,000 yen (US$270) and three people will win travel tickets worth 100,000 yen (US$900).
Pokémon GO has offered limited regional Pokémon around the world, including limited capture events to promote tourism and special events.
