Jingai-san no Yome Anime Inspires Kanenogi Plush
posted on by Jennifer Sherman
Kanenogi, a mysterious lifeform and "husband" to tomari in Jingai-san no Yome, is getting a plush through the manga's publisher Ichijinsha.
Kanenogi is the star of artist Akiwo Yasaka and author Yu Aikawa's original manga. The four-panel series centers on high school student tomari after he becomes "wife" of the fluffy creature. The release of the plush celebrates the anime adaptation's premiere.
The 29-centimeter (about 11-inch) plush costs 3,780 yen (about US$33). Ichijinsha Online Shop, Sekiguchi Fan Direct Shop, and other retailers are accepting preorders now, and the plush is slated for delivery in late November.
The anime premiered on Tuesday, and each episode is five minutes long. Crunchyroll is streaming the series as it airs.
