Take Your Cosplay to Kabukicho's Hottest Host Club at 1-Night Special Event

The male host club "TOPDANDY" in Kabukicho is offering a cosplay event for one night only, and it's promoted as a first for the industry. On November 18, women are welcome to show up with their costumes and spend the afternoon with the club's handsome guys.
The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., before the night activities get started. Non-alcoholic drinks will be on hand that visitors can sip while taking pictures against the club's glamorous backdrops. Of course, the hosts will be there too and perhaps entice visitors to come back later and drop some cash.
The entrance fee for the event covers the six-glasses tall champagne tower experience, something that is usually far above the typical price range for visitors. The handsome staff will be on hand for photos and participate in a talk event while four female DJs select the music. Visitors can also request to hear their favorite songs.
The entry fee is 5,000 yen (US$45) and includes an unlimited supply of soft drinks. The club will not sell alcohol at the event as it is open to all ages. The impressive champagne tower will instead flow with a alcohol-free substitute.
The event is strictly female cosplayers only, however male photographers are welcome to snap pictures.
Topdandy is promoting the event with cosplay ambassadors Acho and Tono, two female cosplayers who chose to crossplay as male hosts.
Cosplay hosts are hardly the most unusual combination to come from the industry. Cup Noodle created its own host guys based on its Tom Yum Cun, Singaporean Laksa, and Black Pepper Crab flavors.
