Manga Creator Arina Tanemura Designs Virtual YouTubers for Tokyo Cinderella Story Channel

Virtual YouTubers have a multitude of entertainment uses, although the most popular like Kizuna Ai and Kaguya Luna are known for their Let's Play videos and first-person antics. The channel Tokyo Cinderella Story is taking a different approach by creating a dramatic love story starring two virtual YouTubers that also offer romance advice. Popular manga artist Arina Tanemura designed the characters Mirei Natsukawa and Yuno Fujimiya for the channel.
Mirei is a single 24-year-old consultant in Tokyo who has (impossibly) high standards when it comes to romance. She dreams of dating a rich guy. Yuno is a single, 28-year-old secretary and friends with Mirei. She falls in love easily and is a hopeless romantic.
Tanemura has previously designed characters for DMM Games' Alice Closet dress-up mobile game and Bandai Namco Games's IDOLiSH7 male idol game. She is also the creator of the Phantom Thief Jeanne, Time Stranger Kyoko, Full Moon O Sagashite, and Idol Dreams manga series.
