Rimuru Class Changes Into an Idol For That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Event
posted on by Kim Morrissy
Rimuru and his friends from That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime have gotten new outfits to match the upcoming "That Time I Got Reincarnated as an Idol" event, which will run from August 22 to September 9 at the Shinjuku Marui Annex in Tokyo.
As you can see from the event's key visual shown at the top right, the girls (plus Rimuru) bring out their cutest frilly idol outfits, while Benimaru sports more of the suave "guydol" appeal. There will be exclusive merchandise for this event based on these illustrations, ranging from key holders to acrylic stands. If you purchase over 3,000 yen at the event, you are guaranteed to win some form of prize. The A prize is a canvas board, the B prize is a bromide of your choosing, while the C prize is a random bromide. (There are six bromides to collect in total.)
The event is free to enter, and will be located at the event space on the 6th floor of the Shinjuku Marui Annex.
The television anime of Taiki Kawakami's manga, which in turn adapted author Fuse and artist Mitz Vah's light novel series, premiered last October. The anime will have a second season in 2020.
