Meet the Cast During the KONOSUBA Official Bus Tour

posted on by Lynzee Loveridge

Fans of the far-flung fantasy and antics of KonoSuba – God’s blessing on this wonderful world!! will get a chance to meet the voices behind Kazuma and Ruffian during an official bus tour. The trip takes off on October 26 and will take travelers to the city of Yugawara in Kanagawa prefecture. Participants will meet Jun Fukushima and Tetsu Inada for a talk event followed by mandarin orange picking and even a hot spring foot bath with the actors.

Applications for the trip opened on September 13 and cost 24,800 yen (US$230) for the one-day trip. The application period will close as soon as all spots are full.

The original KONOSUBA light novels center on Kazuma, a shut-in student who dies in a traffic accident, but meets the goddess Aqua after death. He is given the chance to reincarnate in a fantasy world and can keep one thing with him. When he decides to choose Aqua herself, they are both transported to their new lives. The pair go on quests to earn just enough to buy food, shelter, and clothing, and eventually hire the sorceress Megumin and swordswoman Darkness, who they quickly learn are just as useless as they are.

The original light novels inspired two television anime seasons. The first season premiered in January 2016, and the second season premiered in January 2017. Crunchyroll streamed both seasons as they aired in Japan. The KONOSUBA - God's Blessing on This Wonderful World– Legend of Crimson movie opened in Japan on August 30. Crunchyroll will "bring over" the film to the U.S.

Yen Press is releasing the original light novels and Masahito Watari's manga adaptation in English. The company has also licensed the Konosuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World! spinoff novel series.
