The 17th volume of Kanae Hazuki's Say "I love you". manga revealed on Thursday that the manga's 18th volume will be its last. The volume is slated for "around" summer 2017. The 17th volume's wraparound jacket band also revealed that the series has almost 7.2 million copies in print.

The story of first love centers around Mei Tachibana, a girl who has never made friends or had a boyfriend in 16 years. He even protects her from a stalker — by kissing her.
