Anime Download Site goes down

Anime Download Site, a download site where fans can download MPEG-compressed versions of such anime as Yū Yū Hakusho, went down for a few days, starting on Sunday. Like other down times, this happened shortly after an update to the site. Maintainer Derik DeVecchio was attempting to work with his internet provider to find a solution, and today, the site resumed operations. According to the provider, a new modem has been installed, and so throughput may be even faster than it was before the crash.
