BAKA! Con announces guests, Canadian deal

Baka! Con announced in a press release that it would offer a special deal to Canadians in attendance, in observance of the currently low Canadian exchange rate.

On October 24th, the board that runs Baka!-Con agreed to allow Canadians to pay the same amount of Canadian dollars that the group charges for US admissions. To take advantage of the offer, guests must be pre-registered with the hotel before the convention, with no more than four people allowed per room.

The convention is currently planned for Tukwila, Washington. The current admission price is $30 US, and inquiries can be made at otaking (at whyweb.com). (To pre-register, e-mail baka-con (at juno.com).)

The group also announced a few planned guests, including Stan Sakai (creator of Usagi Yojimbo), and Tristan McAvery (director and voice actor for A.D. Vision).
