Fansubbing program SubStation Alpha underwent a major upgrade, and the result, version 4.0, is now available for download. Numerous improvements to both the interface and the underworkings make this one of the project's largest improvements. Kerisu Jurio of MDC Industries/Mindcorp Fansubs announced that a cross-country move on his part would result in the temporary shut-down of all distribution and fansub activities. While fansub projects will be finished after the move, all requests that have arrived will be shipped out as scheduled. Further requests will be marked "return to sender."
