The programmer known only as "Kotus" has released version 4.01 of his popular fan-subtitling program SubStation Alpha. This release is mostly bug fixes (version 4 crashed a lot), but contains new shortcuts for WAV timing. SubStation Alpha can be downloaded at http://www.eswat.demon.co.uk/.
Neko Productions announced last week that, after a lengthy delay, the third volume of the TV series "Tico and Nanami" (also known as "Tico of the Seven Seas") is finished, and distributors Chi Anime, Tsunami, and Verge will get their masters for distribution, if they haven't already. Neko has also made the decision to remove their web page, since there has not been ample time to keep it up. The web page will be taken down at the end of February.
