posted on 1999-04-01 00:00 ESTL.A.-based Urban Vision announced three new titles for release in 1999, as well as two re-released Streamline titles, which will be released in subtitled form for the first time. DNA Sights 999.9, a sci-fi epic from Leiji Matsumoto (Galaxy Express, Cap'n Harlock) has previously been announced through the Right Stuf's news page, but his World War II OAV series "The Cockpit" has not, nor has action film "Wild 7," based on Mikiya Mochizuki's classic manga.
Re-released films include Wicked City, MADHOUSE and Yoshiaki Kawajiri's pseudo-hentai film, and the original Vampire Hunter D, to which Urban Vision already has rights to the re-make.
