ADV To Release The Arc The Lad TV Series

ADV has announced that they have acquired the rights to the Arc the Lad TV series based on the popular PSX RPG series of the same name. The television series, directed by Itsuro Kawasaki (Martian Successor Nadesico) began running in Japan April 5th of this year on the WOWOW broadcast satellite channel. The story is based in a deep fantasy world, centering around Arc, who fought to protect the sacred ark (a holy magical artifact), and in the process saved the world. During the battle, he was falsely accused of killing the king, and is now a wanted man. Eruku, is descendant of a family with the power to control fire, he currently hunts Arc, convinced that the hero did kill his parents.
