The municipal government had agreed to help in the search for a suitable location for the theme park as it will add a new attraction to the city's ancient temples and shrines. The park could be the size of the Tokyo Dome (about 47,000 square meters), and is likely to draw Pokémon fans from around the world, some are already calling it Japan's Disney Land.
