News "TV Japan" Comes to US

The Dish Network, which is owned by Echostar, has recently begun to carry the cable network TV Japan.TV JAPAN provides 22 hours of Japanese-language programming including news, sports, dramas, music, variety, educational shows and family entertainment. Channel 640 is from the EchoStar III Satellite at 61.5° (serves East U.S.) and channel 641 is from the EchoStar IV Satellite at 148° (serves West U.S.) Currently, the only anime showing on the network is a childrens show called "Nintama".
