New Sailor Moon Card Game

posted on
Dart Flipcards, in association with Guardians Of
Order, announced today that it will release the
Sailor Moon Collectible Card Game in May 2000.

"We are astounded by the astronomical response to this
project", said Dart Flipcards President, Dino Frisella.
"We are very excited about our first foray into the adventure gaming industry, and believe that our involvement as a new game publishing company will have a positive impact on the entire game distribution chain, from distributors to retailers to consumers. We will be
supporting the hobby market by releasing the limited Premiere Edition though the game distribution channels before the Unlimited Edition is released through the mass market."

The SM-CCG is an easy-to-learn multi-player card game
that girls and boys of all ages can trade and collect.
The May release is comprised of 160 unique game cards,
including 10 randomly-inserted foil chase cards. The card game design is based on
Guardians Of Order's Tri-Stat System game mechanic, which was made popular by their Sailor Moon Role-Playing Game and Resource Book. The Premiere Edition, which will only be available through the hobby/game markets and specialty channels, will be packaged in 6 different 60 card Character Decks, a 60-card 2-player Starter Deck, and 11-card Booster Packs. Shortly thereafter, an Unlimited
Edition will also be available widely through the mass
market.
