Upcoming IRC sessions with Hiroyuki Kitakubo

Scifi.com's Anime Colony has announced yet another Chat session with a major Anime personality. This time Hiroyuki Kitakubo, the director of Blood, will be available to answer fans questions over the internet. You can read Sci-Fi.com's full press release below.

Hiroyuki Kitakubo will also be present for the world premiere of "Blood: The Last Vampire" this Friday at the Fantasia film festival.

Anime Colony also has the Creator and Character designer of Serial Experiment Lain, Yasuyuki Ueda and Yoshitoshi ABe, lined up for a session on August 6th.

Blood, Black Magic M-66 director to host chat

Tuesday, August 1, at 9PM ET

ANIME.SCIFI.COM - Hiroyuki Kitakubo, the director of Blood— the movie newly released by Production I.G and SONY Visual Works will be hosting a live chat at the Anime Colony chat rooms to discuss his current and past projects as well as any questions fans have.

Kitakubo has had a hand in anime for some time, having directed a wide range of animes from Sci-Fi to drama to comedy including such classics as Black Magic M-66, Roujin Z, Golden Boy, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Robot Carnival ("A Tale of Two Robots"), as well as Battle Royal High School and Cream Lemon. He has also directed the animated sequences of the Ghost in the Shell PlayStation game.
