News Retailer to sell E-Manga Online

ComicsOne.com has launched a service selling Manga in e-book format. Hoping that Manga e-book will be as popular as Stephen King e-books have been ComicsOne is currently offering a half dozen titles with 10 more coming in the coming weeks and expects the number to grow to over by the end of the year.
The titles, available from a variety of genres (Action, Shojou, Horror, etc..), range from 100 to over 400 pages and sell for $2.95 to $3.95. ComicsOne also plans to offer traditional paper and ink versions of it's more popular titles for $6, as well as related merchandise such as models and backpacks in the near future. They also plan to licence their chracters for promotional use (Manga characters hawking Coca-Cola?).
