The Yoshida Brothers

posted on
Today on NPR (National Public Radio), in the US, durring a news show called All Things Considered, a short segment was aired on a J-Pop duo named the Yoshida Brothers, who are riding the top of the charts. They make their music on the Shamisan, an old, almost out of use traditional Japanese instrament and whare blue kimonos with died spiked hair. There is a short summary of the segment provided on the link below with a link to the Real Audio recording of the entire 1 hour 20 minute show. I have also provided a link directly to the RA file. In the RA recording, the segment is between aprox. 55:15 and 59:50.
