New TV series coming to America

According to the 18th issue of Nihon Keizai Shimbun, Wall Street Journal of Japan, Asatsu-DK sold the broadcasting and merchandizing rights for TV Anime series Chō Hatsumei Boy Kanipan ("Super Boy Inventor Kanipan") to Saban Group. Kanipan was produced by DK's affiliated firm, Nippon Addsystems, and aired on Japanese TV last year. Fox's CATV channel will be airing Kanipan next September in the U.S.
