Manga the big event at Angouleme festival, the "Cannes of Comics"

According to this article from Reuters/Variety Japanese manga, which account for one quarter of the world's comic market, we're the hot ticket at this year's International Comic Festival in Angouleme, France.
Along with Japanese Manga the festival, with attendance of around 200 000 people, also highlighted the growing influence of women artists and comics aimed at women. Shojo Manga was further highlighted in this section of the festival.
