CPM has nothing to do with Fox's broadcast of Slayers
posted on 2001-02-01 17:54 ESTSlayers broadcast rights negotiated with Enoki film
Justin Sevakis of Central Park Media has written us to inform us of a misuderstanding regarding the broadcasting of Slayers on Fox Kids.
There has been a misinterpretation made of the posting on Right Stuf. Central Park Media had nothing to do with the Fox Kids deal regarding Slayers, as we do not reserve Broadcast rights. These are owned by Enoki Films, who negotiated this deal separate from us.

Nothing has changed regarding Fox's upcoming broadcast of Slayers, only the reference to CPM was incorrect.

Fullmetal Alchemist: The Movie Blu-ray
Fullmetal Alchemist is a series for the ages, and even if this part of it doesn't quite live up to its earlier incarnation, it's well worth watching and definitely worth owning. Fans will deeply appreciate this better-looking re-release.

The (small) boost in emotional content notwithstanding, this is still the series to hit up for a watching experience that is consistently fun and never taxing.

If this is the kind of stagnation and dullness that permeates the monster world, then we should all be thankful for being human.

Random Fun
It's enough fun simply to look at that it manages to escape being conscripted to the anime junk heap. It may leave your brain starving, but it will feed your eyes enough candy to make them very happy.
