Daft Punk Music Videos on Toonami.com

posted on
Cartoon Network PR announces that the Daft Punk music videos, directed by Leiji Matsumoto, are now available for viewing on-demand at Toonami.com.

Beginning July 30, videos from Daft Punk, the French electronica duo, will be available for viewing on-demand at Toonami.com, part of the CartoonNetwork.com Web site. The content will be presented in an interactive environment, with the video appearing in one window, while information about the band and photos will be simultaneously available on a split screen. The videos will coincide with the re-launch of the Toonami.com Web site. The site has been completely redesigned to improve navigation and enhance the graphic environment.

The featured videos, “One More Time,” “Aerodynamic,” and “Digital Love,” make up the first three chapters of a serialized story created by famed Japanese animator Leiji Matsumoto. The fourth video, “Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger,” will exclusively premiere on Cartoon Network during a special music-video edition of Toonami Midnight Run -- scheduled to air August 31. After the exclusive on-air premiere, “Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger” will also be housed on Toonami.com.

Daft Punk has been on the cutting edge of dance music since 1995. Their Homework release achieved sales of more than two million copies worldwide and features dance staples, “Da Funk” and “Around the World.” The first single from their latest release, “One More Time” landed on top of the dance charts in the U.S., France and on the Eurochart.
