On Saturday, September 15th, from 6am to Midnight, CST, 100% of all profits for items purchased at DBStore.com, will be donated to the American Red Cross!

Excerpted from the Funimation e-mail:

We need you Club Z members,

In this time of massive mayhem, we must unite and support those in need. We at FUNimation Productions are saddened and shocked by this week's tragedy. Our lives will forever be changed as well as our history.

To show our support for all the people that have been affected, FUNimation will contribute 100% of our profits* from purchases made on Saturday September 15th from 6am to midnight CST at the DBZ store to the American Red Cross. Click here http://www.dbzstore.com/StoreFront.bok/stats.cfm?zid=935676&LID=10 to visit the store.

We would also like to make it easy for you to make contributions to the American Red Cross if you wish. A secure account at www.dbzstore.com/stats.cfm?zid=935676&LID=10 has been set up for your donation to the American Red Cross. Simply add your donation amount to the shopping cart and it will be processed as an order to the American Red Cross.

We feel that this is one small way of expressing our sorrow for the victims, our support for their families, and our enduring appreciation for those who make it their business to help others in need.

Respectfully,

FUNimation

* 100% of profits is defined as the dollars actually received for the products sold on September 15th from 6am to 12pm CST minus the cost paid for the products by DBZ store and any bank or credit card fees. The shipping and handling is not included in these calculations, but will be kept by the DBZ store to cover the shipping and handling costs. A check will be sent to the AMR by FUNimation Store Ltd within 7 days after September 15th in the name of all Dragon Ball Z fans everywhere.
