Cherry Blossom Festival Dates: April 13-14, 20-21, 2002
Location: San Francisco Japan Town
Events: Street vendors, cultural exhibits, Street Performances
Cherry Blossom Festival Parade: April 21, 2002
Location: Starts at San Francisco City Hall Ends at San Francisco Japan Center
Events: Floats, Taiko Performances, Marching Bands, et al.
Anime Costume Parade: April 21, 2002
Times: Check-in starts at 10:30 AM, with judging to begin at 11:00AM.
The meeting place will be at the front of City Hall. The parade will start will begin at 1:00PM from City Hall and end at 3:00PM in Japan Center. Prizes will be announced at a later date. Consolation prizes consisting of videos, posters, keychains and/or magazines will be given to all participants. All participants for the Costume Contest and Parade _MUST_ Pre-register with Japan Video prior to the event. Please contact William or Tak at Japan Video at 415-563-5220.
