A new Lupin Prequel, 'Lupin the Third: Episode 0 'First Contact', will premier on Japanese TV next month.
Airing on July 26th at 9:03PM on Japanese TV network NTV will be the newest Lupin TV Special, a Lupin Prequel called Lupin the Third: Episode 0 'First Contact'.
First Contact takes place when Lupin is just starting out as a rookie thief. Lupin's aim is a mysterious book of Alchemy in the possession of the Mafia. The book describes a process to make a special metal alloy that is harder than diamond but as resilient and malleable as any metal. The only problem... the book itself is encased in the metal with no apparent lock or key.
The story will take Lupin From Tokyo to New York and introduce many of the key characters of the Lupin series.
