Following the brief break in protocol, Shawne Kleckner took back control of his panel and announced the following aquisitions:

The Comic Party license includes all the episodes, including the short ones, and will be released by the end of the year.

Dangaizer 3 is mostly finished and will be coming out this fall on two discs.

TRSI will be restoring and re-releasing their first 3 licensed titles with the help of Rhino. These are Astro Boy, Kimba and Gigantor (1965). Gigantor will be the first to be released, dub only (because the original Japanese material is not available).

The bulk of the TRSI panel focused on Kare Kano, which although its official street date is still 3 weeks away, was available in the dealers room.

This is a title TRSI is extremely proud of this DVD, and it was the biggest challenge they ever dealth with. The DVD has over 300 000 lines of code (compared to 20 000) lines of code for an average DVD, and has the DVD 9 capacity filled to the brim. The DVD includes 57 different fonts matching the various fonts used in the Japanese version for the onscreen text. Volumes 2 and on will have interviews with the Japanese seiyuu. Volumes 2 and 3 are mostly completed; as soon as the quality check is complete TRSI will be able to announce release dates. Shawne hopes to have the first three discs out by the end of the year.
