Yu-Gi-Oh! #1 Saturday Morning Cartoon

Not quite the equal of the recent achievement by Dragonball Z, KIDS' WB! is nonethless happy with their Saturday Morning ratings as Yu-Gi-Oh! , Pokémon and other shows combined to give them the number 1 Saturday morning Cartoon ratings.
Yu-Gi-Oh! is #1 and #2 in the ratings, while Pokémon - Master Quest is #1, #2 and #4 in the ratings, and other shows come injust about every other top 10 position imaginable. Confusing? There are a multitude of different demographics used to rate childrens programming, many of them overlapping, such as "Boys 2-11" , "Boys 6-11" , "Kids 6-11" , "Girls 2-11" and so on...
KIDS' WB!'s high ratings with all its Saturday morning shows, led by Yu-Gi-Oh! and Pokémon, add up to a very high ranking for the Saturday morning broadcast a a whole.

On Saturday, September 28, Kids WB maintains its dominance among the Saturday morning broadcast and cable competition as the #1 network in Boys 2-11 (5.8/24), Boys 6-11 (7.4/30) and Tweens 9-14 (5.5/27). The network took seven of the top 10 overall program spots in Boys 2-11, the top 8 spots in Boys 6-11 and eight out of the top 10 in Tweens 9-14. Kids WB ranked as the #1 broadcast network in Kids 2-11 (4.1/18), Kids 6-11 (5.1/22), Girls 2-11 (2.4/11) and Girls 6-11 (2.8/14). Year-to-year, Kids WB continued to improve in Kids 2-11 (+32%/+29%), Kids 6-11 (+28%/+22%), Boys 2-11 (+29%/+20%), Boys 6-11 (+28%/+7%), Girls 2-11 (+60%/+57%), Girls 6-11 (+40%/+56%) and Tweens 9-14 (+72%/+59%). Among Kids 2-11, Kids WB outperformed ABC (1.8/8) and Fox Box (1.5/7) combined.
For the morning, Yu-Gi-Oh!, in its 11:00 a.m. ET time period, dueled its way to a #1 win among all competition in Boys 2-11 (6.8/27), Boys 6-11 (8.9/37) and Tweens 9-14 (6.7/30). The animé hit finished as the #1 broadcast program among Kids 6-11 (5.9/26). At 8:00 a.m. ET, Yu-Gi-Oh! ranked as the #2 program for the morning among the broadcast and cable competition in Boys 6-11 (8.2/35) and Tweens 9-14 (6.4/39). Yu-Gi-Oh! led all 8:00 a.m. ET time period competition in Kids 2-11 (3.9/23), Kids 6-11 (5.3/28), Boys 2-11 (5.8/29), Boys 6-11 and Tweens 9-14, setting all-time network highs in these demos for the time period. This bonus airing of the fantastical animé-adventure posted week-to-week growth in Kids 2-11 (+26%/+5%), Kids 6-11 (+18%), Boys 2-11 (+38%/+7%), Boys 6-11 (+28%) and Tweens 9-14 (+49%/+11%).
