Anime Companies Take On New Executives.

ADV Films and Tokyopop have both hired new executives, both focused on promotions and marketing.

ADV Films has hired Frank Wolbert to be their Senior VP of Marketing and Development, with primary focus on promotion of company product. Wolbert has two decades' experience in the field of entertainment and publishing, including the parent company of one of Viz's distributors. Former Senior VP Kevin Corcoran has been named Executive VP, and retains his titles of COO and CFO. ADV Films and Mr. Wolbert are both enthusiastic about the future of the company.

Tokyopop has created the position of Executive Director of Development for Steve Galloway, responsible for the development and sale of Tokyopop properties for mainstream media. This is in hopes that Tokyopop can parley its upcoming Reign: The Conqueror debut into more TV time for its shows and greater brand recognition for its titles. Galloway's former employers including such eyebrow-raisers as Nelvana and Pioneer Laser Entertainment.
