Takahata Dubbing French Film, Ghibli Offices questionably closed for four days following Sen TV premiere

According to Studio Ghibli's web diary, Isao Takahata is engaged in directing the Japanese dubbed version of the French animated film Kirukou and [the] Witch (Kirikou et la Sorciere) by Michel Ocelot in Ghibli's recently upgraded and improved recording studio. Further information will be announced at Ghibli's booth at the 2nd Tokyo International Anime Fair to be held this coming March.

Ghibli announced on their website, "Ghibli will be closed between January 24th and 28th for the replacement of electric equipment and the LAN (network) at the studio. No telephones or fax machines will be operational during the period."

Incidentally, Spirited Away, with the red tint, aired on Japanese TV today (January 24th).
