Wherehouse Music to Close 120 Stores

Wherehouse Music has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, citing price competition and music piracy as reasons for its business woes. Wherehouse has closed 30 stores nationwide, and plans to close 120 more. Wherehouse is a major anime distributor and was a major presence at some conventions.
