News Anime Unifying Asia?

Japan Today newspaper posted an article about how anime, as well as Japanese Pop Culture, is helping to unify East Asian Countries.
The March issue of Chuo Koron magazine features an article by Masahiko Ishizuka, managing director of Japan's Foreign Press Center. Speculating on the effects of Japanese pop culture on Asian unification, Ishizuka links the energence of cultural products like anime with Asia's rising living standards and economic status. As quality of life across Asia reaches that of Japan, Izhizuka predicts that the "synthesis of pop culture in Asia" will reap many rewards as anime and other Asian pop culture become globalized.

Cage of Eden has all of the elements of a classic survival epic – monsters, diseases, an unfriendly wilderness with no perceived escape, and our own ability as humans to lie. While it can be laid on a bit thick at times, and the fanservice or treatment of the adult female characters may be objectionable to some, Yamada's story is an engrossing one.
