This six-episode OVA story fills in a time gap in the first series by looking at certain incidents from multiple different angles. Though hardly crucial viewing, fans of the franchise should find this satisfying.

But while it has its problems, K-ON is a fun little series and Yen Press has done a good job in bringing it to English-speaking readers.
