News Spielberg to direct Lupin?

According to Dark Horizons, Steven Spielberg is apparently considering directing a live-action movie based on Monkey Punch's Lupin the Third anime series. No details are given on the site. Gerald R. Molen, producer of Schindler's List (directed by Speilberg), acquired the live-action film rights to Lupin the Third back in February.
