Gundam Reprints coming from Stone Bridge

Original series to be published in one volume
Stone Bridge Press will be releasing a single volume collection of the original 3 Gundam Novels, written by Yoshiyuke Tomino and translated into English by Frederik L. Schodt. The original 3 novels, Awakening, Escalation and Confrontation, have already been published in English by Del Rey in 1990.
Originally published in Japan in 1979 by Asahi Sonorama, the series presents a slightly different view of the original Gundam Series and the battle between Amuro Ray and Sha (Char) Anzanable. In the novels, Tomino had the opportunity to explore deeper and more mature content than what was presented in the Mobile Suit Gundam (0079) television series, the novels are more detailed and generally considered to be truer to Tomino's actual vision of Gundam.
In 1987 Kadokawa Shoten published a slightly modified version of the novels, Frederik L. Schodt's translation is based on the 1987 version.
Mobile Suit Gundam: Awakening, Escalation, Confrontation will be released on April 30th for $14.95.
