Official statement from Anime Expo regarding Under17
“Under17 was looking forward to its performance at Anime Expo 2004, but deeply regrets they will have to cancel,” said Trulee Karahashi of the Society for the Promotion of Japanese Animation, the non-profit organization that produces the annual convention. According to Under17's spokesman, the cancellation is due to a personal emergency.
"Unda sebu" is Momoi Haruko (lead vocals) and Koike Masaya (guitar). Under17 has sung the theme songs on games and anime such as "Mouse", "Da Capo", and "Popotan". Momoi Haruko is also an accomplished voice actress, her credits include "Ai Yori Aoshi", "Final Fantasy: Unlimited", and "Ragnarok The Animation". Under17 recently performed at AX Tokyo.
