And other announcements from AnimeFest

FUNimation announced at AnimeFest in Texas this weekend that they have acquired the license for The Galaxy Railways, they plan to release the series late next year.

They also covered some details regarding the release format of other recently licensed titles, Spiral and Fullmetal Alchemist will be released on 6 and 13 discs respectively, with 4 episodes per volume, and retailing with a $29.98 SRP. This is a break from previous FUNimation releases, many of which were 3 episodes per disc with a lower price per disc.

FUNimation expects to release their next Lupin movie, Dead or Alive, in the spring of 2005.
