News Innocence Tops Japanese DVD Sales

Ghost in the Shell: Innocence number 1 DVD in Japan five days straight.
According to Oricon, Ghost in the Shell: Innocence is the top selling DVD in Japan. The DVD was released on September 15th, and has been the top selling DVD every day since (statistics currently available up until September 19th). The "Limited Edition Volume 2 Staff Box" was also the eithe best selling DVD on September 15th, however it has since fallen out the overall top 20 best selling DVDs, but remains the 10th best selling animated DVD in Japan.
Volume four of the third Tenchi Muyo! OVA series was also released on September 15th, it was the fifth best selling DVD in Japan that day, and has since fallen to fourteenth overall.
