Pete Docter to Produce English Howl
posted on 2004-11-23 14:05 ESTToshio Suzuki announced at a press conference in Japan that Pete Docter, the director of Monster's Inc., will be in charge of the production of the English version of Howl's Moving Castle. John Lasseter, who produced the English adaptation of Spirited Away and is a close friend of Hayao Miyazaki, was the first choice however his commitments to the final Pixar / Disney production, Cars, precludes him working on a second project.
