This double-disk sub-only release covers the rest of the second story arc and the beginning of the third. Although still a purely entertaining series at heart, it shows a greater capacity than its contemporaries to adapt to its story advancement and grow beyond its original parameters.

Ultra Maniac DVD 1
Whether or not you'll like Ultra Maniac depends entirely on whether or not you like the "magical girl" genre in general, as this is one of the most pure magical girl titles you're likely to find. Fans of the genre will love it, most others should skip it.
